Don McClain Publishes New Capital Readiness Research on the Three C’s of Business Funding

Don McClain, Founder & Principal of Fast Commercial Capital and strategic leader across Fasty Funding and Medro Advisors, has published a new research and educational series examining the Three C’s of Business Funding: Cash Flow, Credit and Collateral.

The August 26 research expands on the Fasty Funding Capital Readiness framework and examines how business owners can better understand their financing position before an urgent capital requirement develops.

The framework focuses on four core areas:

Cash Flow — evaluating revenue, deposits, profitability, existing obligations and the company's capacity to support additional capital.

Credit — understanding how personal and business credit profiles may affect financing alternatives, structure and underwriting.

Collateral — identifying commercial real estate, equipment, receivables, inventory and other business assets that may create additional pathways to capital.

The Capital File — organizing the financial and business documentation necessary to clearly present and support a financing request.

A central principle of the research is that a business that cannot obtain its desired financing today should not necessarily be viewed as permanently unfundable.
